About Ocean Legacy Foundation

Ocean Legacy Foundation is a Canadian non-profit organization working to end ocean plastic pollution. Through its EPIC program (Education, Policy, Infrastructure and Cleanup), Ocean Legacy leads shoreline and marine debris cleanups, runs Ocean Plastic Depots in coastal British Columbia, and recycles recovered fishing gear and marine plastic at its Plastic Pollution Emergency Response facility in Richmond, BC. Recovered material is given a second life as Legacy Plastic, and the free online EPIC Academy shares practical knowledge with communities around the world.
