Suzi Mikaelian is a strategic advisor to mission-led enterprises navigating inflection points. As founder of Social Mission Canada and fractional COO for Ocean Legacy Foundation, she partners with organizations to realign strategy, operations, and capital readiness with clarity and purpose. With 25+ years across corporate, nonprofit, and social enterprise sectors, Suzi brings a systems-thinking lens to governance, financial sustainability, and organizational design. On OLF's board, she leads with a focus on fiduciary oversight, strategic alignment, and long-term resilience, helping the organization prioritize what matters most and scale with integrity.

Chloé Dubois

Chloé Dubois co-founded Ocean Legacy Foundation and is a nationally recognized voice in ocean plastic remediation. She holds a Master's in International Studies and is the public face of OLF's work. As Vice Chair and Executive Director, Chloé leads community engagement, partnership development, capital infrastructure development projects and educational outreach, while actively collaborating on fundraising and impact investment. She builds strategic relationships with partners globally, ensuring alignment with OLF's mission and amplifying the reach of its outreach and education programs. Her focus includes legal oversight, risk navigation, and ensuring that OLF's programs remain impactful and inclusive.

James Middleton

James Middleton is a subject matter expert in waste management, marine logistics, and sustainable infrastructure. As OLF's co-founder, he brings hands-on leadership to recovery operations, EMS optimization, and the design of circular systems for recovered marine plastics. James provides technical insight on circular economy implementation, waste-to-value systems, and sustainable manufacturing strategies. He is instrumental in shaping OLF's approach to scalable infrastructure development and operational execution.

Shylo Love has been a committed force behind Ocean Legacy Foundation since its inception, serving as a long-time collaborator, advocate, and systems builder. As OLF's Chief Technology Officer and a sitting board member, Shylo leads the organization's work on technology, AI, and digital innovation. Her focus is on designing integrated systems that accelerate impact from operational infrastructure to digital learning, stakeholder engagement, and platform development. With over a decade of continuous involvement, Shylo brings a unique blend of technical vision, institutional knowledge, and mission-driven creativity. She ensures that OLF's innovation strategy is both future-facing and grounded in community benefit.
